RJA #13a: Field Research Report

I conducted one interview with a kid who is currently in middle school.

Here is the questions that I asked him and his responses.


1. What technological devices do you use?

I use my cell phone, xbox, stereo, tv, computer and ipod.

2.How often do you use technological devices? Everyday? Once a week?

I use technological devices every day.

3.Do you think technology has a negative or positive effect on kids?

Technology has a positive effect on kids because they could use their phone to call their parents.

4.Does technology have a positive or negative effect on you and how so?

Technology has a positive effect on me because I like playing my video games and listening to music.

5.Do you ever use slang?

Yes because it’s a shorter version.

6.Have you ever used slang in the classroom setting for like classwork or homework?

Yes but I catch myself doing it and then I erase it and fix it before I turn it in to the teacher.

7. Is technology a distraction to you?

No!
